Solar Ride!

We've got a major heads-up coming from multiple sources about a super severe solar storm gearing up to hit us. And get this, it's not just a one-day affair. Nope, it's set to shake things up for the entire weekend!

Now, picture this: Sunspot AR 3664. It's not your average sunspot. Nope, it's grown to epic proportions, rivaling the famous Carrington event of 1859. We're talking over 200,000 kilometers long and 15 times wider than our Earth!

Earth is 7,920 miles in diameter so 15 x 7,920 = 118,800 miles!

That number 1188 should look very similar as the Bible or Helios Biblios (Sun book), has 1,188 chapters! ; )

You could actually see this beast without any fancy equipment—if it weren't for the clouds blocking the view.

But here's the kicker, this isn't just any run-of-the-mill space show. The Carrington event back in 1859 set telegraph offices on fire and lit up the skies with auroras all the way down to Cuba and Hawaii. And now, we've got not one, not two, but four confirmed coronal mass ejections headed our way, starting late Friday!

Now, I'm not here to spread fear or doom. Nah, I'm genuinely intrigued to see what unfolds. But let's be real, the potential disruptions are no joke. We're talking headaches, dizziness, confusion, and even internet and cellphone interference. And that's just the beginning. Our satellites and power grids could be in for a wild ride too.

So, buckle up, folks. It's gonna be an adventurer. Let's keep our eyes to the sky and see what this cosmic spectacle has in store for us. Stay safe out there, and let's ride this solar wave together!
